A happy mothers day to all mothers there. Here at the Huff House, we are going to reschedule it.
Corri and I stayed up a bit too late last night and polished off a bottle of wine and a few beers... which means I awoke around 4 am with a massive headache (I should remember that I can not combine those two very well). Additionally, Austin stayed with us last night and ended up getting sick all over the beds. Soooo, Corri woke up this morning and spent the entire morning taking care of Austin and doing laundry while I spent the morning in bed not able to move too much.
Couple that with terrible rain (even though we are needing it) and you pretty much get a ruined Mothers Day.
I did have several plans, and even had something setup, so I'm pretty disappointed, as is Corri.
Soooo, here at the Huff House, Mothers Day will be next Saturday. Hopefully I can make it up to Corri since she has done the work of three people here at the new house. Yesterday, when I got back from picking up Kamie, Corri had already cleaned one of the flower beds, and was working on a real mess of Bananna Trees in the far back corner of the yard. I hung a ceiling fan in the kids room, but it doesn't compare. She has pretty much single handedly gotten us unpacked and settled in. I'm thinking she deserves a really nice day.
Other than today, the weekend was really nice.
