Since so many of you liked the post yesterday of Grant Hicing-up, here is another that came from the mouth of Grant.
Grant was in his bedroom and I walked in to see what he was doing. On getting off of his bed, he hit his head...
Grant: Ow, I bamed my head.
Dad: Well be careful, those bams can hurt.
Grant: I know.
Grant then walked through his doorway where he then hit his head on the door jam
Grant: Ow, bamed again. My head keeps bamming, the bams just wont leave me alone.
Grant: Mom, I have the hiccups and need some sugar... they keep coming up.
Mom: Ok, well let me here you hiccup first then you can have some.
Grant: ...
Mom: ...
Grant: ...
Mom: I don't hear any hiccups Grant.
Grant : Mom, they wont stay down, I keep Hicking-Up.
Mom and Dad: LAUGHTER
Last month, Nick and Erin tied the knot! Congratulations to you both! I’d have to say it was hands down the best wedding I have ever attended. I was honored to be in the wedding itself along with Nick’s brother Ben (best man) and Nick’s father Hector. They put so much thought and planning into the event itself, it was wonderful. The ceremony itself was just the right length and the reception after was a blast! If you are interested in seeing pictures head on over to www.teneophoto.com and go to the Weddings link, then click on Clients up top. You’ll then see a place for a password on the right, enter the word diaz and enjoy some of the best wedding pictures ever taken. Warning there are over 300 pictures there! We got new outfits for the kids and took a few PICTURES prior to going. They look awesome. Ashton was the perfect little princes and Grant stole the show on the dance floor late in the evening. It was difficult to get him to stop dancing!
Last month, the kids and I stepped outside and rode around on the bikes. Ashton didn’t think I could ride a bike, so I hoped on her little 18” and did a few laps… she grabbed the camera and took some PICTURES for proof.
I mentioned in my last update that I got a new car, here are the PICTURES.
We had a round of the stomach bug pass through the house last week. Everyone but myself got it. What a mess it was for a few days, but Friday came around and we were able to celebrate my birthday in style. Now Grant and Ashton have the annual 1 month cough that they always get which is always a lot of fun.
Ashton started swim lessons yesterday. That kid is happiest in the pool than any other place. She is such a great swimmer. I can’t wait to open our pool for the summer, which we plan to do the first weekend in May (Grant’s b-day party).
I was in Ohio last month for a quick trip for work, I’ll most likely be up there again in the next month or so. All in all work is going really well and I’m very happy with the progress of some of my side deals. Can’t really complain there.
That’s the quick update from the Huff House in Houston. Hope all is well with everyone reading this!
