Web Programs

Most programs these days are either used on the web, or interact with it in some manner. Below are several projects I have completed which are run across the web.

GP1MS

2003 Delphi 6.0 MS SQL 2000

This system was built for a Fortune 500 company to track and keep Microsoft Site License information current.

At the corporate level, the IT Manager creates a new "Site License" record assigned to a location. At each location, the Site Administrator is able to log on and get his information. Additionally, the Site Admin inputs computer assets information bound to each license. As the Site Admin uses up the license, he is able to request a new one, which generates a work order to be fulfilled at the corporate office level.

This process allows the corporate IT staff and directors to remain current in all Microsoft License issues. Prior to this system, they had several instances in which illegal copies of programs had been purchased and installed. This system has allowed the company to fully take advantage of bulk licensing and discounts, as well as maintain complete control of their use.

SWG-RP

2002/2003 Visual Studio .NET (ASP.NET)

MS SQL 2000 INI Structure Files

This system was actually created for a game I play. Its purpose to create a centralized location of information regarding the game, its players, and guides involving it. Using Visual Studio .NET (ASP.NET Specifically) the system generates many functions via Server Side objects and behaviors to track over 900 unique members of this site.

GP1Email

2001/2002 Delphi 6.0 MS SQL 2000

This system was generated for a long time Fortune 500 client that needed a way to track over 3,000 (at the time, it has now grown to over 6,000) user accounts and email information.

The corporate office houses multiple Microsoft Exchange servers, in which over 100 national locations have access via Wide Area Networks. The locations Site Administrator is able to log on and add, edit, or delete user records online that generate work orders at the corporate level, or if the Site Admin has been granted permission, the system will make all changes directly to the Exchange database for them.

Prior to this system being in place, all Site Admins had to submit email requests for changes to the corporate IT Staff. Often, these requests where lost or not completed resulting in the loss of communication via email for the end users. Now, all requests are completed in a timely manner due to both an email notification being generated to the corporate IT staff informing them of Work Orders, or via direct links to the Exchange servers.
